Sustainability
At Wildly Good, we’re on a mission to re-wild people’s plates and the planet!
We know that eating a plant-based, whole-food diet positively impacts the health of both us and the planet.
We aim to make eating vegetables effortless, so you can focus on living life and enjoy more of the good stuff.
We understand that most Australians don’t eat nearly enough vegetables. Wildly Good is here to change that by making veggies fun, flavoursome, and fuss free.
Planet Earth
Food production accounts for one-third of global greenhouse gas emissions. Since we eat several times a day, our food choices significantly impact planetary health. By 2050, we need to double our intake of healthy foods like fruits, vegetables, legumes, and nuts while reducing sugars and red meat (1).
In Australia, about one-fifth of purchased food is thrown away each year, contributing significantly to household waste.
Wildly Good makes it easy to prepare delicious, ready-to-eat veggies, so you don’t have to worry about those beautiful veggies that you purchased at the farmers market on the weekend going limp in your crisper…
Here’s some key steps we are also doing to prevent food waste:
Working with food rescue charities like Oz Harvest and Open Table
Onsite waste management system that converts all production waste into industrial fertiliser.
Offering a range of pack formats to cater to different household sizes and appetites.
Encouraging you to freeze any products that you might not have time to eat before the expiry date.
Human Health
94% of Australian adults don’t meet the recommended five serves of vegetables per day (3). Here’s how simple it can be with the help of Wildly Good:
Breakfast: Wildly Good Tofu Scramble on toast
(1 serve)
Lunch: Wildly Good Salad Bowl: Sweetcorn fritters (1 serve), with spinach (1/2 serve) and avocado (1/2 serve) and your favourite sauce.
Dinner: Wildly Good Burger (1 serve) in a wholemeal bun with lettuce, tomato, cucumber (1 serve), and your favourite sauce.
Better yet – have you heard that eating more than 30 different plants every week can positively impact your gut health? They do say variety is the spice of life. Try our Wildly Good Original Veggie burger contains 7 wholefood vegetables giving you a head start to reach 30!
